Join Us for the 2026 ISLSP/CIBER Business Language Conference

The 8th International Symposium on Languages for Specific Purposes (ISLSP) & Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) Business Language Conference brings together scholars from around the world who focus on the teaching and research of world languages and cultures as they operate in academic and professional domains with the goal of making LSP an integral part of foreign and second language curricula.

This year’s conference will be held March 26-28, 2026 on the Wake Downtown campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Background

The International Symposium of Languages for Specific Purposes (ISLSP) was founded by Dr. Lourdes Sanchez-Lopez in 2012 and has taken place every two years since this time. It merged with the CIBER (Centers for International Business Education and Research) Business Language Conferences in 2016.
